BKS Iyengar is a living yogi legend.  Recognized as bringing yoga to the West, Guruji Iyengar has been practicing yoga for over 60 years.  He continues to inspire and spread TRUE yoga with his ennumerable Iyengar-trained yoga teachers. Iyengar Yoga is greatly based on precision and alignment, a practice that benefits the internal and external organs. We learn to find relaxation in the pose as we listen to our body, its sensations and wisdom.  Author of 14 books, including "the yoga bible," Light on Yoga and now Light on Life,  Guruji's books continue to provide resources of how to teach true yoga.

Ana Forest is a world-wide recognized yogini. Having battled and overcome several challenges such as epilepsy, bodily deformities and bulimia, Ana is proof of the healing powers of yoga.

"The way she teaches Asana, Breath, and the movement of energy allows for the epiphanies of the students' life experiences to emerge. These illuminations create a unique and powerful opportunity for the student to make practical life decisions based on their experiences.

Her philosophy and approach are unique and powerful, drawing on her vast life experiences. She is a living example of a spirit who has freed herself from the bondage of trauma, and chosen a warrior's path of compassion. Having studied a multitude of Yoga styles and healing modalities, Ana's focus is on guiding the student to use Forrest Yoga in a meaningful way for the sacred exploration of truth, wholeness, and health.
