Kandis
Teaches: Yoga

Yogini Shanta, or Calm
Kandis joined Sisters Yoga Studio as a member in November of 2006. She knew little about yoga but had heard that yoga can help someone suffering from migraines. A migraine sufferer since childhood, Kandis learned different poses that can help relieve discomfort associated with migraines. Kandis quickly began noticing the benefits of yoga in all aspects of her life, namely spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Yoga has taught her to be patient not only with her body, but with life's daily challenges. Kandis' passion for yoga and it's benefits fueled her desire to share it with everyone and become a yoga instructor. She is a graduate of the Sisters Yoga School and is registered at the 200 hour level with Yoga Alliance (in progress.)
