Let's help Grace realize her dream by sponsoring her at the World Cup 2008 for climbing!
Grace helps Mom teach our Yo-God class every Tuesday night. Not only is she a wonderful yoga teacher but she just so happens to be a world-class climber!
Grace started rock climbing at the age of 4. She took to it naturally and loved it! Two years ago she joined the competition team at Yosemite Fitness. From Sept.-Jan. they go to competitions in other cities in California. This year Grace took 2nd place at the Regional competition in Fremont and she and four others from her team in Fresno got an invitation to compete at the American Bouldering Series National competition in Boulder,CO. All of the top climbers in the U.S. come to this competition. Ages range from 8 years old to mid 30's. Grace tied for 1st place in the qualifying round at this competition and climbed every route without falling once. She then moved onto the Finals and took 4th place, becoming the youngest ever to place! This led to an automatic invitation to next year's Nationals and now Grace is a member of the U.S. Team of 2008! The World Cup 2008 will take place in June at the Teva Mountain Games in Vail,CO. We need your help to send Grace to Colorado. What could be more patriotic than seeing this beautiful climber represent the USA!?
